Our Goal

Brain aneurysm survivors face a multitude of challenges during recovery — physical, emotional, social, and economic. Feeling isolated, not heard, and not understood, they often turn to grass root online groups in search of others who share in the same experience. While these forums allow for valuable sharing and connection with other survivors, they often lack professional advice. Consequently, many questions by survivors go unanswered.

The Lisa Foundation’s Survivor Support program will address everyday concerns, challenges and questions to support those recovering from brain surgery.

Entertainment

Quinta Tango orchestra was born out of our love for tango music and dancing. We play the “Golden Age” tangos, milongas and valses from the 1930-s through 1950s, as well as “tango nuevo” pieces especially arranged for our group. Since our inception we have performed for dancers and music lovers all over the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California at special events, private parties and at local milongas – social tango dance gatherings.

Encontro Das Aguas, meaning “the meeting of the waters” in Portuguese, is a musical duo which lends their eclectic signature soundscape of bossa nova, latin, jazz and folk to creating a relaxed, romantic vibe at establishments and events throughout Ventura and Ojai. Francisco Leon, acoustic guitar and lead vocals & Angela DeVita, flute and vocals.

Special Event DjZ , will get everyone on the dance floor, playing dance music to suite every taste and style!
